Am I the only person who gets bored with having to dress for work? If you’re anything like me being a girl from the South, your professional style was inspired by conservative ideas (remember having to wear stockings?!?) that in no way reflected your personal style. Through the years I’ve (excitedly) watched women’s style evolve in the workplace to include bold colors and patterns. As I write this it is dawning on me that so much of my decision process in getting dressed for work is centered around (unwritten) rules that were put in place by a male dominated workplace.
